Working with Flower Essences
What is a Flower Essence?
Flower Essences are gentle, energetic remedies designed to support emotional growth and healing. They are made by using the sun to capture or imprint the energetic vibration of flowers in water.
I began making essences in 2020 while isolating in the Catskill Mountains. In the stillness surrounding my creek-side cabin, I started to sit with and get to know the energies of the flowers that were growing all around me. Over the last five years, I have created 33 essences.
All Bright Ground essences are made from filtered spring water and preserved with a minimal amount of brandy.
How to Use your Essence?
Flower Essences can be used in many ways. A typical dosage is a few drops under the tongue a few times a day. Or you can add a few drops to your water bottle and sip throughout the day.
You may also use your essence externally, adding a few drops to a room spray or a bath. Try keeping your essence on your altar or carrying it in your pocket for a physical reminder of its energetic properties.
I urge everyone to tap into and trust their own intuition when deciding when and how to use these essences.
